Giving back to our community is not just something we talk about at Team Ringgold. It is one of our core standards, a value we live out through our actions throughout the year. On July 1st, 2026, we had the privilege of putting that standard into action in a big way.
Earlier this spring, we organized a water drive to benefit the Topeka Rescue Mission. We reached out to our clients, friends, family, coworkers, and even agents from other real estate companies, asking them to pledge water donations. The response was overwhelming. By the time we made our delivery on July 1st, we had collected over three hundred and forty cases of water, totaling more than thirteen thousand bottles.
What made the delivery even more meaningful was something the Topeka Rescue Mission shared with us that day. Their water supply was at a near critical low. I truly believe the timing of this drive was no accident. Prayers do come true, and we are grateful we could show up at exactly the right moment.
The water will be put to good use across multiple mission programs, including MAPS, Street Reach, and the shelter. Knowing that these donations will reach some of the most vulnerable people in our community, especially during the hottest months of the year, made every effort worth it.
This was not the only time we showed up for the Topeka Rescue Mission this week. Earlier, our team spent a volunteer day at the mission where we folded and sorted coats and clothing, stacked shelves with food products, painted a new wall, and helped clear out and reorganize an area to prepare for their upcoming back to school event. We typically volunteer at the mission around five times a year, and every single time we leave feeling more connected to this community and more committed to serving it.
I am incredibly proud of my team and everyone who contributed to this effort. This is what Team Ringgold is about. Not just helping people buy and sell homes, but showing up for the people and the community around us.
If this story moves you, we encourage you to consider donating to the Topeka Rescue Mission as well. They accept water, food, clothing, and so much more. Every contribution makes a difference for those who need it most right here in Topeka.
