SHAWNEE COUNTY HOME SALES REPORT – AUGUST MARKET UPDATE

Home sales in Shawnee County fell in August, with 210 homes sold—down from 244 units in August 2022. Despite fewer sales, total sales volume rose to $49.5 million, showing continued strength in overall market value.
The median sale price increased to $199,850, up from $180,000 a year earlier. Homes moved quickly, spending an average of 4 days on the market and selling for 100% of their list price, reflecting strong buyer demand.
ACTIVE LISTINGS UP IN SHAWNEE COUNTY
At the end of August, active listings rose to 199 units, nearly doubling from 105 listings a year earlier. This represents a 1.1 months’ supply of homes available for sale.
