The Sunflower MLS real estate market posted strong gains in May. A total of 371 homes were sold, marking a 12.1% increase over the 331 homes sold in May 2023. Sales volume rose to $89.8 million, up 17.5% from the previous year—highlighting continued buyer activity throughout the Sunflower MLS area.
The median sales price climbed to $212,000, up from $196,500 one year ago. Homes sold fast, spending a median of just 4 days on the market, and closed at 100.0% of their list prices—indicating a competitive environment and steady pricing confidence.
ACTIVE LISTINGS AND INVENTORY TRENDS IN SUNFLOWER MLS
At the end of May, there were 375 active listings across the Sunflower MLS, up from 264 in May 2023. This reflects a 1.3 months’ supply of homes, offering buyers more choices while maintaining an advantage for sellers.
